Can’t Wait For The Next Episode Of Mandalorian Season 2? Google Play Has You Covered
Unlike most other shows on streaming platforms, The Mandalorian releases new episodes on a weekly basis. That means you won’t be able to binge your way through a Stars Wars-filled evening and finish the new season in a single sitting. Google knows the struggle is real, and has put together an impressive list of content to sate your appetite between episodes. From novels and comics to movies and games, here’s the best content to feed your need for The Mandalorian.
Star Wars: Ahsoka (Novel) – Ahsoka has been teased for this season of The Mandalorian, but we don’t know a lot about them. If you’re curious to learn more of this character’s origins, this novel will give you a deeper look at their background and how they survived Order 66.
Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Menace Revealed (Comic) – If you’d rather learn more about Jango, this comic takes a look at the bounty hunter’s dark past and how he came to be a Mandalorian.
Star Wars Jango Fett: Open Seasons – Told through flashbacks, you’ll get a glimpse at the battle between Death Watch and the True Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Civil War.
Star Wars: Age Of Rebellion – Villains (Comic) – A brief look at a few of the side quests Boba has gone on during his time as a bounty hunter.
Star Wars: Age of Republic (Comic) – This one features several storylines, including a look at Jango during group missions, giving us a better look at his relationship with son/clone Boba.
Star Wars Rebels (Show) – During season 3 we get a look at Sabine Wren and how they came to possess the dark saber. The episode is called “Legacy of Mandalore,” and it provides excellent context for The Mandalorian.
Knights of the Old Republic (Comic) – Although it’s not canon to Star Wars lore, it’s a fantastic journey into the Mandalorian world and how they were forced into hiding.
Knights of the Old Republic (Video Game) – Possibly the greatest Star Wars game ever made, there’s not a better way to bide your time during episodes than by creating your own hero (or villain) and exploring the galaxy.
The Clone Wars (Show) – This animated series is wonderful on its own, but the numerous Mandalorian appearances makes it the perfect show to watch during the week as you wait patiently for a new episode to air on Friday.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunters (Comic) – A brutal look at the world of the Mandalorians written by Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Paolo Villanelli. Sacks has worked on several highly regarded Star Wars comics in the past, and fans are hopeful this will be another classic to add to the list.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is now available, with new episodes rolling out every Friday. It’s only available on Disney+, but a monthly subscription costs just $6.99. You can also bundle together Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for $12.99 a month, and might be a better option if you’re looking to cut cable entirely.
