Wordle is the hugely popular daily word game which has become an internet sensation in the past year.

The rules to Wordle are simple – you need to guess a five letter word that changes each day and have six guesses to do so.

Your answers are entered into a tiled grid which changes in colour depending on whether you’re right or not.

If the letter you entered into the grid is correct and in the right position the tile turns green, if it’s the correct letter but not in the right position it’ll flash yellow and if the letter isn’t found in the Wordle answer at all the tile will be grey.

This colour-coded system helps people share on social media how quickly they solved the daily Wordle.

You’ve probably seen these posts on your feed which shows squares in yellow, green and grey colours.

This is a spoiler-free way to show how someone solved the latest Wordle – and if they share one row which is all in green it means they guessed the answer in one go.
