Lost Ark: All Yorn Hidden Story Locations
The Umar of Lost Ark are certainly a cheerful bunch (with, apparently, quite an arrogant past), and the hidden stories of Yorn allow you to learn a bit more about them. This continent contains the standard seven hidden stories scattered about its zones, ranging from simple two-parters, all the way to a dreaded five-parter.
Yorn is the final zone of tier one and the beginning of your journey into tier two (after completing your first Yorn Chaos Dungeon and looting your 802 item level gear, that is), so it’s only natural to be slightly overwhelmed with all the new content you unlock here. That said, starting with the easy to complete portions of Yorn’s Adventurer’s Tome is an excellent place to start.
Hidden Story 1: Mukar’s Bachelor Party
The first hidden story is a three-parter, with all locations being in different zones. The first interaction is in the Hearty Guffaw Inn in Great Castle, the second is in Black Anvil Mine, and the third is in Iron Hammer Mine. You’ve got twenty minutes to get from each interaction to the next.
Hidden Story 1-1
The first is in the Hearty Guffaw Inn, lying right next to the seated Drinking Umar at the back left table.
Hidden Story 1-2
The second is right next to Hipor, the potion merchant.
Hidden Story 1-3
The third is a few steps away from the Aromatic Workshop triport.
Hidden Story 2: About Queen Rivera
The second hidden story is a nice two-parter. The first is in Great Castle (left picture), behind Kaysarr (the king of Umars and also a Rapport NPC), right in front of the entrance to the King’s Chamber. The second is in the southern part of Hall of Promise (right picture) just next to an altar with a bunch of candles on it. You’ve got twenty minutes to get from the first interaction to the second one.
Hidden Story 3: The Incredible Song
The third hidden story is another simple two-parter. The first one is in Black Anvil Mine (left picture), right next to the Sleepy Shelter triport on the west side of the zone. The second one is in Iron Hammer Mine (right picture), in the Aromatic Workshop area to the north. You’ve got twenty minutes to get from the first interaction to the second one.
Hidden Story 4: How To Live As A Healthy, Happy Umar
The fourth hidden story is a three-parter, but the good news is that all the parts are in the Wonderful Brewery dungeon. So, if you haven’t run it on both normal and hard difficulty for Adventurer’s Tome progress, now’s a great time to run it on the difficulty you haven’t beat it on yet. You’ve got six minutes to get from each interaction to the next one, so be sure to be quick! (Also, while you’re here, scroll down to the sixth hidden story, as it contains two interactions that are also located in the Wonderful Brewery).
Hidden Story 4-1
The first is pretty close to the start of the dungeon (right after you get drunk and start seeing chickens). It’s next to two breakable barrels. You may want to kill all the telpas in this part and then pick up the first part of the hidden story just to give yourself some extra time getting to the second one.
Hidden Story 4-2
The second is right after you jump across to the second part of the map, at the base of the giant fan.
Hidden Story 4-3
The third is in the third portion of the dungeon, at the very end of the coral reef area, right before you climb up a chain back into the brewery.
Hidden Story 5: Umar Masterpieces
The fifth hidden story is a three-parter. The first one is in Hall of Promise, and the second and third ones are in Great Castle. You’ve got nine minutes to get from the first interaction to the second one, and six minutes to get from the second one to the third one.
Hidden Story 5-1
The first one is in the Burning Lava Cliffs area at the western side of the zone.
Hidden Story 5-2
The second one is right behind the Transfer Skill Tree NPC (Toby) and next to a wooden crate with the first aid sign on it.
Hidden Story 5-3
The third one is in the Barber Shop, and the interaction is behind the golden statue you see as soon as you walk into the room.
Hidden Story 6: The Umar’s Pride And Joy
The sixth hidden story is the first and only five-parter of the continent. The first two interactions are in the Wonderful Brewery dungeon, and the third, fourth, and fifth are all in Black Anvil Mine, and they’re all pretty near each other, so it’s not too much of a hassle.
Hidden Story 6-1 and 6-2
The first (left picture) is on the far end of the strip preceding the first elevator. You’ve got six minutes to get to the next interaction. Make your way down the strip (but don’t hop on the elevator yet), and the second (right picture) is blending in with the dirt, right next to Mador (the Umar). You’ve got twenty minutes to get to the next interaction.
Hidden Story 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5
The third (left picture) is by the mining-cart-transport boarding spot, closer to the Sleepy Shelter triport. You’ve got six minutes to get to the next interaction. Take the mining-cart-transport down and the fourth (middle picture) is on the other end. You’ve got six minutes to get to the next interaction. The fifth (right picture) is right by the entrance to Great Castle, on the westernmost side of the zone.
Hidden Story 7: History Of The Umars
The seventh hidden story is a four-parter. The first two interactions are in Hall of Promise, the third one is in Black Anvil Mine, and the fourth one is in Iron Hammer Mine. You’ve got nine minutes to get from the first interaction to the second one, and twenty minutes to get from both the second one to the third one, and the third one to the fourth one.
Hidden Story 7-1 and 7-2
The first (left) is in the easternmost portion of the zone, the Great Umar Sculpture area. It’s just behind the big blue crystal thing. The second (right) is relatively nearby, in the area just below the first, the Sunken Great Plaza. It’s just behind a brazier and right next to a large chain.
Hidden Story 7-3
The third is in the Fervent Workshop on the eastern side of the zone. It’s just next to one of the altars with the blood-sphere atop it.
Hidden Story 7-4
The fourth is in the southernmost area of the zone, the Radiant Gold Mine.
