Death Stranding 2 or DLC possibly teased in Kojima tweets
A pair of new tweets from Hideo Kojima have fans speculating that some sort of follow-up to Death Stranding may be in the works.
Death Stranding was one of the most high-profile titles of 2019, with its all-star cast and unique/bizarre concept that only revered director Hideo Kojima could dream up.
It’s never been clear whether Kojima and his team were seriously considering a sequel, but that might be exactly what they’re doing now.
Recently, Kojima posted a tweet of how he has been working from home, with a picture of his work desk. The caption itself doesn’t hint or tease anything but, as you can quite clearly see in the picture, Kojima seemed to deliberately place a doll replica of the character BB prominently in view.
So, is Kojima teasing a Death Stranding sequel with these? One possibly set in outer space with a grown up BB? Honestly, it’s hard to say.
Kojima has previously hinted that Death Stranding could receive DLC at some point, so maybe the art is referring to that?
It’s equally possible that Kojima isn’t even working on something Death Stranding related. In the past, he has suggested that he’d like to work on a horror game next.
Although there’s been no official word on that either and rumours he is connected to a Silent Hill revival have since been denied.
Death Stranding is available on PlayStation 4. It will release on PC on 14 July.
