A Bunch Of Nintendo Switch Games Are On Sale Right Now, Including First-Party Titles

If you’re looking for something new to play on Nintendo Switch this week, there are plenty of great deals right now. The Nintendo Switch Eshop has a bunch of sales running, while Amazon has slashed prices on a few first-party titles.

As a new weekend approaches, you might be on the hunt for some new Nintendo Switch games to play, and fortunately, there are some solid Switch games on sale for great prices right now. The Nintendo Switch Eshop is offering solid deals on digital games, including a flurry of Capcom games and indie hits like The Escapists 2, while Amazon has slashed prices on a few first-party titles by 10 bucks.

The Amazon deals include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Mario Party for $49.94 each. While that’s not a huge discount, Nintendo fans know it’s rare to see these games below $60, and they don’t get much cheaper than this outside of major sales like Black Friday. You’ll also find The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for $52.81; plus, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Switch port is $50 and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is $24.54.

Best Switch deals at Amazon:

  • BioShock: The Collection — $35 ($50)

  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening — $52.81 ($60)

A big Capcom sale runs on the Eshop until July 30. The Eshop sale features markdowns on Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen ($15), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy ($15), and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate ($20). You can also grab the wonderful Okami HD for $10, and the entire Resident Evil franchise is steeply discounted too.

Some great couch multiplayer titles are seeing Eshop discounts as well, including Overcooked: Special Edition and Overcooked 2. The latter added online multiplayer as well, so it’s the one to get if you’re interested in playing with friends remotely. Released in April, Moving Out is already down to $20–this fun multiplayer game is very similar to Overcooked, except you’re frantically moving boxes instead of cooking meals. The top-down strategy games The Escapists: Complete Edition ($3) and The Escapists 2 ($6) are also on sale, putting you in the shoes of a prisoner who must devise creative ways to escape their prison. Other worthwhile games to grab on sale this weekend include survival horror game Darkwood, narrative-driven farm sim The Stillness of the Wind, and Mexican-inspired Metroidvania Guacamelee 2.
