Mobalytics Raises $11.25M Series A Led by Almaz Capital and Cabra VC

Esports analytics startup Mobalytics (Gamers Net, Inc.) announced that it has closed an $11.25M USD Series A financing round led by Almaz Capital and Cabra VC. Further investors that participated in the round include HP Tech Ventures, General Catalyst, GGV Capital, RRE Ventures, Axiomatic, and T1 Entertainment & Sports.

Mobalytics, which launched its first personal gaming assistant and analytics platform for League of Legends in beta after winning TechCrunch Disrupt in 2016, plans to use its new funding to expand into further development of its services through better analytics and personalization. Furthermore, the company will work on expanding its service to new games and hiring new engineering talent.

Global esports organization T1 Entertainment & Sports announced that it invested in Mobalytics earlier this year. Nevertheless, T1’s investment was part of Mobalytics’ Series A round as the company announced its participation before the round was closed. In 2016, the company secured a $2.6M seed investment from a group of investors that returned for the Series A round including Almaz Capital, General Catalyst, GGV Capital, and the Founders Fund.
