HellRaisers and 5MEN fall short in the Dota Summit 13 Europe and CIS group play, playoffs set

Dota Summit 13 Europe and CIS competition is ready to enter the playoffs stage with eight teams fighting for the spoils in a single-elimination bracket.

A total of 10 squads entered the group stage after Yellow Submarine and Brame, a mix of European players featuring ex Ad Finem members prevailed through the open qualifiers battle to claim a spot into the event.

YeS and Brame were seeded in different groups and both managed to upset the directly invited opponents to reach the playoffs. In Group A it was HellRaisers who had to bow out after two consecutive losses, one to Live To Win and one to YeS. In Group B, Brame took down 5MEN to advance to the playoffs which are set to begin today.

The playoffs single elimination bracket seeding and schedule are as follows:

November 6

  • 17:00 CET: Viking.gg vs Live to Win
  • 17:00 CET Ninjas in Pyjamas vs mudgolems
  • 20:00 CET:  semifinals

November 7

  • 17:00 CET: Team Liquid vs Brame
  • 17:00 CET: Khan vs Yellow Submarine
  • 20:00 CET:  semifinals

November 8

  • 18:00 CET: Grand Finals – BO5
