FNATIC and Lavazza Team Up for Icons of Italy Campaign Featuring Co-Branded Fortnite Map
Italian coffee brand Lavazza has teamed up with esports organization Fnatic for a campaign centered on the organization’s Italian Fortnite player Giorgio “POW3R” Calandrelli. The campaign, dubbed “Icons of Italy” will feature a co-branded custom Fortnite map of the same name. Calandrelli will take players through an interactive in-game experience which contains symbols of Italian culture and references to the Lavazza A Modo Mio brand.
The companies have also collaborated on a two-part documentary about Calandrelli’s rise in the esports world. The documentary will be released on Dec. 16 on Fnatic’s YouTube channel.
Calandrelli will kick off the campaign on Nov. 11 by livestreaming himself playing the Icons of Italy map on Twitch.
