EHOME dismantled by Team Aster at the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2

With the first round of upper bracket playoff series out the
way, it was time to look toward the upper bracket finals between Team Aster and
EHOME, with the victor claiming the first grand finalist spot at the China
Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2.

After Aster played amazingly to come back from a game down to send Elephant to the lower bracket, they set themselves up for a series again EHOME as both teams hoped to be the first grand finalist at the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2. When the two squads met during the group stage, Aster put on a great performance to take a rather easy 2-0 victory and today was no different at all. In a total series time of just over an hour – with game two lasting under 20-minutes, Aster ripped EHOME apart and pushed them into the lower bracket finals.

Du “Monet” Peng’s 13 kills over the two games alongside the
beastly support performance from Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao ensured that EHOME would
stand no chance of taking down the recently dominant Aster roster. Having been
beaten by EHOME and eliminated from the recently concluded CDA-FDC Professional
Championship Season 2, Aster got a small taste of revenge as they now await
their grand final challenger.

Tomorrow we will see the lower bracket of the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 kick off with Vici Gaming  taking on PSG.LGD before Elephant and Sparking Arrow Gaming go head to head – with the victors from each series moving on into the second round of the lower bracket. All losing teams in these three series tomorrow will be eliminated from the event – while one winner will move forward to face EHOME in the lower bracket final and play for a spot against Team Aster in the grand finals.
