While we don’t exactly know what the Battle Pass will bring, we do know which map it will add. Highrise from Modern Warfare 2 will make its return to the franchise. However, that’s not the only thing from MW2 that could make a reappearance.

As of right now, we don’t have a ton of official information for Season 8 of COD Mobile. As previously stated, we know that Highrise will make a return and a new Battle Pass will launch. But the details of the Battle Pass remain a mystery, at least for the most part.

However, thanks to a leaked image by Garena, a publisher of COD Mobile, we may have a glimpse of a character coming to Season 8’s Battle Pass.

From the image, which has since been taken down by Garena, we can multiple things. For starters, there’s the Season 8 title, Apocalypse Day, and start date of July 11. But the mystery man in the center of the teaser is the real talking point.

We can’t be certain, but many in the community have guessed that the figure is the Modern Warfare 2 villain, Makarov. COD Mobile has made it a habit to introduce characters from Call of Duty‘s past, so Makarov being featured in Season 8 wouldn’t be a shock. It also ties in with the fact that Modern Warfare 2 map Highrise is coming to the game.

At the time of writing, that’s all we know about the new season. We’ll make sure to keep you updated with any further developments here at Daily Esports.
